I don't have a problem with it. Plenty of places for counter-snipers. Plus, the ladders are placed perfectly so one pipe can't prevent people from climbing up the other pipe.

2. Revive teleportation - in Ashland [original thread]
On D5 of the ambush (OMS), I got killed on top of the pipe, then got revived shortly after. However, there were no other blues on the pipe, and appeared underneath it after I was revived.

There are structures along the edges, plus the INSANELY USEFUL piping that goes over the center of the map. It takes forever to get up there, but most of the time, people don't bother checking up there. Plus it puts you directly above a NULL cannon

Something similar happened to me when I was running near the northernmost railgun. I was about to shoot gem cutter with it again, but I instead got launched into the open.

I zoomed out on the map here, and I noticed it seems to be in a different district than the other 3 maps. Just throwing that out there.
